Standard Liability
Excess (Deuctible): AU$7,500

All KEA vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party. The hirer is responsible for the first AU$7,500 of the cost of damage to the rented vehicle including windscreen, tyre damage, overhead, under-body, towing and recovery costs, theft, fire, break-in or vandalism. The hirer will also be fully liable for demurrage i.e. the daily rental rate for the period the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs - max 7 days.
Liability Reduction Option - Gold Cover
Excess (Deuctible): $0

The Liability can be waived for AU$42 per day (AU$47 for 4WD vehicle). The cost is limited to a maximum of 50 days or AU$2,100(AU$2,350 for 4WD). An AU$NIL liability applies for any vehicle damage, demurrage, cost replacing or repairing windscreens, tyres, overhead and underbody as well as single accident damage.


 
 
Security Deposit

Standard - AU$7,500 A security deposit of AU$7,500 will be taken on vehicle collection. The security deposit can be paid by cash, traveller's cheques or credit card (no additional credit card fees apply). Should the security deposit be paid by credit card the amount will be debited to your account immediately, any currency fluctuations are not the responsibility of KEA Campers. The security deposit is fully refundable on return of the vehicle to the agreed location, on the agreed date, with no damage incurred to the KEA Campers vehicle or third party property and providing the toilet cassette and waste water tank have been emptied and no items or equipment are lost or damaged.

Gold Reduction - AU$500 A security deposit of AU$500 is payable by an open signed credit card imprint with an authorisation obtained (sufficient funds must be available) for AUD $500 at the time of vehicle pickup. The security deposit is fully refundable on return of the KEA vehicle to the agreed location, on the agreed date in clean condition with a full tank of Diesel (4WD dual tank), the toilet cassette and waste water tank emptied and no equipment lost or damaged.
